This is totally cool footage of country soul singer Allison Moorer, in rehearsal, at a studio in Nashville in 2000. She and her band were getting ready for a tour in Europe. The song, The Hardest Part, is the title track from her second album, which had just hit stores when this footage was recorded. The band segues into the song with an impromptu intro of the Rolling Stones classic, Sweet Virginia. Allison Moorer is one of country’s finest voices, is the sister of singer Shelby Lynne and the wife of country rebel, songwriter extraordinaire, Steve Earle.
