It’s the year of Bamford! Back in September, Gord won five awards at the Canadian Country Music Awards in Edmonton and this week, he has released his new album Country Junkie.
As usual Gord got it right with all songs on this album. His current radio single ‘When Your Lips Are So Close’ shows his intimate side with lyrics: “You know it drives me crazy/To be so far away when your lips are so close.”
The album give us a good mix of catchy songs like ‘The Truth’ and songs that hit close to our hearts like ‘Unreal’. He also has a song with country legend Joe Diffie, check out the album titled track ‘Country Junkie’.
Gord is currently on tour with Reba McEntire and recently donated $100,000 to Children’s hospitals across Canada. This proves that Gord is not only a talented artist but he has a heart of gold. I knew the first time I heard, ‘All About Her’ from his album 2004 album Life Is Good, Gord had some serious talent so if you haven’t purchased Country Junkie yet, I suggest you go get it!
