CCMA Male Artist Nominees: Everything You Need To Know

Aaron Goodvin - Top Country Charts

On September 1, Aaron Pritchett embarked on a cross Canada trip in his prized 1973 VW Van “Gertie.” Along for the ride is Aaron’s partner, Jessie and a professional videographer who documented their epic journey through the mountains and prairies as they made their way to this year’s CCMA Awards in Saskatoon.

TC: What was your first reaction when you found out you were nominated for Male Artist of the Year?

AP: I was extremely pumped! It’s been 8 years since my last nomination so to be back in the fold feels great.

TC: Who’s your go-to band or artist when you can’t decide on something to listen to?

AP: Joey Landreth and The Brothers Landreth. Awesome guys and incredibly talented musicians. You can just let their albums play in entirety. One of the best guitar solos I’ve ever heard is in a song called “Still Feel Gone”
TC: What’s something you’ve been meaning to try but just haven’t gotten around to it?

AP: Hot yoga! Haha
TC: What’s your favourite thing to do when you have time off?

AP: I play hockey every chance I get…  and hang with my family of course
TC: If you could make one rule that everyone had to follow, what rule would you make?
Don’t be an a**hole!
