With over a billion radio impressions to date, his singles have rapidly climbed the country music charts, with multiple singles cracking the national Top 10, including the newly crowned GOLD-certified single “I Hate You For It”. Most recently, Brownlee garnered a 2017 JUNO Award nomination for Country Album of the Year and achieved his third consecutive top 10 hit with the single “Somethin’ We Shouldn’t Do”, off of the JUNO nominated release Hearts On Fire (album release date: April 29, 2016). In 2016, Brownlee was the 2nd top charting Canadian on the BDS Country charts. Also in 2016, the video for “Hearts On Fire” was nominated for a 2016 Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA®) Video of the Year Award™, while the album was recognized with nominations in the Album of the Year and Recording Package of the Year categories. In January 2017, Brownlee’s Hearts On Fire Tour collided with Tim Hicks’ Shake These Walls Tour for 8 highly praised co-headlining dates across Western Canada.
