Country Kicks Cancer's Ass PosterReceiving the devastating diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia in early 2018, Cadence Grace spent much of the year going through Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI) treatments which were ultimately ineffective. Now preparing for a bone marrow transplant along with the heavy risk and costs associated, friends, family and the country music community are coming together to raise funds for the road ahead as Cadence embarks on her treatment and lengthy recovery period.

While facing her toughest battle yet, Cadence still remains optimistic and champions the future of research, educating the public about this disease along with the importance of blood and stem cell donation. “With the hard-fought advancements in cancer care today, no one should die waiting for a bone marrow match,” she says. “Each of us has the power to save a life – to grant someone their biggest wish, and forever be a hero.”

Country Kicks Cancer’s Ass will not only work to support Cadence and her family through this journey, but will also work to raise awareness surrounding blood & stem cell donation to help others receive the second chance that is on Cadence’s horizon.
