Reviewed: Jason McCoy’s Perfect Gift

On Friday night in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Jason McCoy took to the stage to perform for a sold-out crowd at Festival Place. Playing for over two and a half hours, the show itself is interactive and fresh combined with both McCoy classics and Christmas favourites; unlike anything I’ve seen before….and I’ve seen a lot of shows over the years.

As McCoy performed some of his hits, his buddy and fellow Road Hammer Clayton Bellamy joined him onstage to perform ‘Eastbound and Down’. Can we expect more music from the Road Hammers in the future? That’s something that may not be too far off.

McCoy also took time to explain his involvement with an organization dear to his heart World Vision Canada, who are also a part of the tour this year. You can help out by visiting Jason’s page on the World Vision site.

I told Jason I wouldn’t give too much away in this review, as a courtesy to fans who have yet to see this one-of-a-kind performance. What I can tell you is that this is a show you won’t want to miss. From beginning to end, McCoy’s hits, humour, and Christmas surprises shine.
