6 Days until Christmas!
We’re counting down the days until Christmas by featuring a special Top Country Christmas Q&A with a different artist each day! Check out today’s Q&A with Jordan Pritchett and Dan Arnold from King & Cash!
1. Top way to countdown to Christmas
J: There’s always lots of Christmas movies and music to get in the spirit. Along with a Christmas calendar, of course.
D: 24 days to countdown, 24 beer in a case… coincidence? I think not!
2. Favourite Christmas Carol
J: There are so many favourites. Elvis’ version of “White Christmas” really has a cool, different feel, and reminds me of Christmas as a child.
D: “Carol of the Bells,” love the Trans-Siberian Orchestra version.
3. Top 3 Christmas movies, go!
J: Elf, The Grinch and Jingle All The Way.
D: Home Alone 2, just watched it actually! Jingle All The Way and A Christmas Story.
4. Top 2 things every Christmas Carol needs
J: Cookies, eggnog and candy canes.
D: Metal guitar riffs and acoustic guitar riffs.
5. Top 3 Christmas Treats
J: Cookies, eggnog and candy canes.
D: Spiced rum and eggnog, mint Baileys and coffee and / or hot chocolate, and stuffing… does stuffing count? I’m not much of a sugar cookie guy.
6. Best Christmas present you ever received
J: I would have to say my first guitar, in 2001, I believe. It was a red and black Squier and an amp!
D: A guitar amp with an overdrive.
7. Where will you be spending Christmas this year?
J: At Mom’s! I’m really looking forward to it! And I usually see my whole, big family, so lots of travelling around Christmas for me. It’s very nice to get to spend quality time with everyone.
D: White Rock BC, with a bunch of other kids who aren’t getting to go home for Christmas either.
8. Real Christmas tree or fake?
J: Real! It’s worth the mess.
D: Real.
9. Your top Holiday Traditions?
J: Christmas breakfast, family gatherings and rum and eggnog!
D: Ugly Christmas sweater party and singing some songs.
10. Who has the funniest Christmas sweater?
J: My Dad’s got a good one! Maybe he’ll post a picture of it…
D: My friend Denai, she wore it on CTV. I think she takes the cake.
11. What’s at the top of your Christmas list?
J: Socks and underwear! Boys gotta have socks and underwear!
D: I have gotten so much more than I have ever wanted this year already, anything else is just icing on a very well decorated cake.
12. What goes on top of your tree?
J: A star. Classic.
D: Probably a lit up wine bottle, let’s be honest, my guests are pretty creative.
