A few words from Amy on the single: “When I heard that the grand prize winner would have a chance to work with Open Road, I knew I would enter this contest. After slugging it out as an indie artist for many years, I know how big of an opportunity it is to work with a label like Open Road.” says Amy Nelson about winning the contest. “Trippin’” is all about the ups and downs of falling for someone new. It’s clumsy, it can be messy and it’s 100% me. It’s that roller coaster of emotions that can feel a bit out of control. I don’t really fall into love gracefully, I generally trip over my own feet.”
