Day Three
Chad Brownlee sat down with TC to chat about his Christmas favourites.
1. What is your favourite Christmas memory?
Last year my wife and I found someone`s dog and went looking for its owner throughout the neighborhood. After several unsuccessful visits to various houses, an elderly man pulled over across the street. He had been looking for hours for his little dog. He was very relieved that she was OK and told us he had lost his wife last Christmas and his dog was all he had left. He said he was just going to warm up meat balls in the microwave since his wife use to do all the cooking. As our hearts wrenched from hearing his story we invited him over for Christmas dinner. He really just wanted someone to listen to his stories and he sure had a lot! I’m glad we were able to at least give him some company and a home made meal! I’d like to think anyone would have done the same in our situation. Especially on a day where we are suppose to practice giving. I haven’t heard from him since but I hope him and his dog are doing well!
2. What’s your favourite dish on your family’s Christmas menu?
The entire combination of Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry sauce.
3. What’s your all-time favourite Christmas song?
‘Baby, Please Come Home’ – U2
4. What’s your favourite family Christmas tradition?
Making pancakes in the morning. My Mom makes the best in the world hands down! I dare anyone to try and top them!
5. What’s the one Christmas album you couldn’t live without?
Garth Brooks Christmas. Reminds me of my childhood at home. And its Garth, come on!
