Texas superstar Miranda Lambert has had to postpone and cancel shows in the last week due to overextending her voice. According to her website, Miranda has been placed on vocal rest and is currently under the care of her doctor. She hopes to return to the stage by next weekend.
She was to perform at the Jam in the Valley event in Varysburg, N.Y. on July 6th but that performance was cancelled and the promoters filled her slot in the show with Gretchen Wilson and Sawyer Brown. Organizers have asked fans to keep their unused tickets and wristbands because they will be making arrangements for refunds and/or reimbursements.
As well, her July 7th show in Scranton, PA at the Toyota Pavillion at Montage Mountain was postponed. A new date for the show has yet to be announced. For more information on Miranda’s upcoming shows, click here for her website.
