Tim Hicks

Oh man, too many to count!  If I had to pick, I’d say my favourite holiday treat would be these Candy Cane cookies my mom makes. I think I like them because they remind me of Christmas when I was a kid. One of those things that takes me back in time.”

Jess Moskaluke

“Crispy Peanut Butter Chocolate Logs.” Recipe here!

Dan Davidson

“Definitely mulled wine. This is the best thing for a holiday party. Makes your house smell amazing, gets people in the holiday spirit, and warms you up on a cold day!”

1 (750 ml) bottle of dry red wine.

1 orange, sliced into rounds.

8 whole cloves.

2 cinnamon sticks.

2 star anise.

2-4 tablespoons sugar, honey, or maple syrup to taste (or your desired sweetener).

Optional add-in: 1/4 cup brandy (or your favourite liqueur)… maybe a lil Orange Quattro!

Brett Kissel

“Very simple. One glass. Two ice cubes. Two ounces of JP Wiser’s Whisky. I call it: Nectar of the Gods. Also known as whisky on ice.”

The Abrams

“Mary (Nanny) Abrams’ Christmas stuffing.”

Vanessa Marie Carter

Bobby Wills

“Traditional Swedish Pancakes with Orange Sauce! Christmas morning family breakfast!”

Kira Isabella

“My favourite holiday recipe would have to be my mom’s shortbread cookies.”

I make pot roast for Christmas dinner. It’s a bit unorthodox but we’re not really a big turkey family so my mom’s pot roast recipe is something we all look forward to. I also make Chicken and Sausage Gumbo every year on Christmas Eve.” Check out Martina McBride’s new cookbook and latest Christmas album!
