The CCMA Song Camp will provide these artists with an opportunity to escape the distractions of day-to-day life and do what they do best: make hit songs! Over the week they will have the the freedom to channel new creative outlets and have access to unique collaboration opportunities they might not otherwise get to pursue.
Here’s how the camp will work:
Each morning the curated group of writers and producers will receive a briefing and then dissolve into their small assigned groups where they will spend the day collaborating to develop a collection of new songs. Days will consist of a series of three writing sessions, ranging from two to five hours in length, with new groups being assigned together each day. Every evening will culminate with a late-night showcase, providing the groups an opportunity to share their favourite tracks from the day’s sessions.
Sun, sand, and country music! Sounds like the perfect week to us!
