One More Girl’s Carly and Britt McKillip recently sat down with TC and chatted about their favourites at Christmas.
1. What is your favourite Christmas memory?
Carly – Sleeping on the floor in sleeping bags with Britt, trying to stay up all night to catch Santa leaving presents. We of course didn’t make it past 11 pm.
Britt – Putting up the Christmas village and having a new building every year (e.g. the “Candy Store” etc…)
2. What’s your favourite dish on your family’s Christmas menu?
Carly – My mom’s maple fudge. Can’t beat it.
Britt – STUFFING. Enough said.
3. What’s your all-time favourite Christmas song?
Carly – ‘What A Wonderful Beginning’. Watched Lisa Brokop sing this since I was 5 and have loved it ever since.
Britt – No favourite, but I love any Christmas song that Martina McBride sings….. it always puts me in the Christmas Spirit!
4. What’s your favourite family Christmas tradition?
Carly – Opening one present on Christmas Eve obviously…. I have no patience.
Britt – It’s tradition for our bass player and his awesome wife to come stay with us on Christmas eve and Christmas day. It makes me feel like we have a big family
5. What’s the one Christmas album you couldn’t live without?
Carly – Martina McBride’s Christmas album. We have been putting that thing on while we decorate every year for as long as I can remember.
Britt – Again, Martina McBride…. Her Christmas songs are always the best.
